Student Corner Profile


Sarafina is a student in Grade 9. She is one of our interns who lives 3 hours away from the school in a small home made of tin. Sarafina excels in every task given to her. She is one of the best students in our school.


She is confident that she will become a respected economist. She would like to change Haiti’s image in terms of the corruption that impedes on the country’s development. When asked what COHP means to her, she replied that “COHP heals my wounds, it frees me from my handicaps. COHP is where love is. We are provided with everything that we need to break this vicious cycle of poverty."
