Miami Meetings and Debriefing

The first COHP task force flew back to Miami after many unusual and grueling delays at the PAP airport, for a meeting with Forrest Broman, Coordinator of COHP. The meetings took place on Thursday the 11th, well into the night, and on Friday morning.

They went over the accomplishments of the 4 days in Haiti, as well as an outline of actions to be taken in the next month and a half. Jacqueline Fabius is returning with renewed energy, tomorrow, Sunday the 14th, to continue heading the project in Port-au-Prince.

The team meets with Emmanuel M é nard, the Mayor’s office Director of Administration and Finances, to go over some of the requirements to set up COHP in the Delmas 33 area. Luc-Marie happens to be a friend of his, which literally opens the gates to the Mayor’s compound to us.
